Timothy's Covid-19 Mission Statement

The health and safety of our guests, as well as our family of employees, is the No. 1 priority for Timothy’s Restaurant. As a fixture in the Harbor Country community for nearly 20 years, it is our responsibility to be proactive in these challenging times.

Currently, we are following guidance and recommendations from our local Health Department and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), while continuing to evaluate our standard procedures. Our restaurant has been meeting food safety and sanitation standards for nearly two decades, so these protocols are already in place, and we continue our commitment to maintain the highest possible standards in cleanliness, service and product quality.  As part of this commitment, we have taken important steps to elevate our focus beyond our customary high standards of sanitation, cleaning and employee hygiene in response to COVID-19.

As we continue to monitor current events, we are updating these protocols with additional layers of caution and mindfulness, to provide peace of mind to our guests and team members.

    These updates include:

∙Risk Management Supervisor- The sole responsibility of this team member is to maintain and document frequent cleaning and disinfecting procedures throughout the facility.

∙Sanitizing the surfaces of all key guest touch-points every 30 minutes.

∙Changing all serving utensils every 30 minutes.

∙Following current cleaning procedures using proven and effective sanitizing products and increasing the frequency of cleaning practices and decontamination procedures within our facility.

∙Reinforcing stringent handwashing practices requiring employees to wash their hands every 20 minutes or between tasks.

∙Making sure all hand sanitizer stations are stocked and operating properly, as well as adding additional sanitizing stations throughout the restaurant.

∙Ensuring that our staff are continuously updated and educated on preventative measures outlined by our local Health Department and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Additionally, all staff members have been advised not to report to work and to seek medical attention if they are experiencing flu-like symptoms or have come into contact with affected individuals.

As this is a fluid situation, we believe that communication and preparedness are crucial in providing the necessary support and resources for all of our co-workers and guests, and to position Timothy’s with the ability to quickly validate information and respond in a timely manner. We want you all to know that your health and safety are our highest priority. We remain committed to following the guidance from public health officials and stand ready to take every precaution necessary in order to keep you, our guests, and our employees safe.

Trust it to be Wonderful. Trust it to be Safe.
